Three-time Grammy Award winner, Lucinda Williams has been carving her own path for more than three decades now. Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Williams had been imbued with a “culturally rich, economically poor” worldview. Several years of playing the hardscrabble clubs gave her a solid enough footing to record a self-titled album that would become a touchstone for the embryonic Americana movement – helping launch a thousand musical ships along the way. For much of the 1990s, Williams moved around the country, turning out work that won immense respect within the industry (winning a Grammy for Mary Chapin Carpenter’s version of “Passionate Kisses”) and a gradually growing cult audience. 1998’s Car Wheels on a Gravel Road notched her first Grammy as a performer. 2020’s Good Soul Better Angels was a socio-political masterpiece, garnering two Grammy nominations. In October 2021, Williams was inducted into the Austin City Limits Hall Of Fame. In April 2023, Williams released her long-awaited memoir, Don’t Tell Anybody The Secrets I Told You, to wide critical acclaim, which debuted at #5 on the NYT Bestsellers List. In June 2023, Williams released Stories from a Rock n Roll HeartThe AP referred to the album as “another important chapter to one of the most important musical journeys of the last half-century.” lucindawilliams.com

Dessa fell in love with language as a toddler---and she just never got over it. Coming up in Minneapolis, she collected favorite words to decorate the walls of her brain; as teenager, she thrilled in metaphor; and when she started writing songs and touring, she'd always lean in to pick up on the regional slang. Now, Dessa works in most fields that traffic in words: she's recorded rap bangers as part of the fiercely independent Doomtree collective, released a live album with the Grammy-winning Minnesota Orchestra; contributed to the New York Times and National Geographic Traveler; delivered a TED Talk that's notched more than 4 million views; hosted two seasons of the Deeply Human radio program; and published a memoir titled My Own Devices. dessawander.com

Gospel and blues, melodic sensibility, and honest emotion characterize Minnesota-based artist Chastity Brown. She's been featured on NPR’s “Favorite Sessions,” CMT, American Songwriter, the London Times, Paste Magazine and others. chastitybrownmusic.com

Kiss the Tiger are here to rattle our bones and bust us out of our cocoons with some good old fashioned rock and roll. Fronted by the magnetic and disarming Meghan Kreidler, this is a band that doesn’t just play. They combust. kissthetiger.com

    We wanted a musical drama.
An ensemble cast, with linked arms, kicking highly.

A transcription of a band meeting we haven’t even had yet…

    A spotlight on a spotlight:

This one goes out to all the solos BETWEEN the solos.
To the Ands of 3… AND 4.

8 Legs and 8 arms, in a room, stretching deeper than they ever knew they could.

    The Intros have Outros.
    The Outros have Bridges.

Don’t like the Jam? ……. Just wait five minutes.

Like turtle doves in a snow storm, Fate has brought us together again with Producer and long time collaborator Jonathon Wilson. And for this, we are forever grateful.

our 8th studio record to date. Unless you don’t count the first seven, then this would be our DEBUT RECORD!

We left quite a mess out there, and if each person reading this picks up just one piece of trash on their way out…

Then we’ll leave this planet more beautiful than the day we found it

    About BER:
Minnesotan indie pop singer/songwriter Ber initially gained traction when a track from her debut EP went viral online, which lead to supporting Tom Odell and Sigrid on their North American tours plus festival appearances and sold out shows in the US and Europe.  Ber has a real knack from writing songs that connect with people involving niche situations that the listener thought nobody else could speak to, the songs can be described as being painfully sad but with a punchline.

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

SMA & Mithun Productions present Live at the Hilde featuring: Big Head Todd and The Monsters with special guests TBA.

Big Head Todd and The Monsters have persisted as a rare force of nature in rock ‘n’ roll. The platinum-selling Colorado quartet—Todd Park Mohr [vocals, guitar, keys, sax, harmonica], Brian Nevin [drums], Rob Squires [bass, vocals], and Jeremy Lawton [keyboards, lap pedal/steel guitar, vocals]—have consistently churned out undeniable and often uplifting anthems fueled by a hybrid of no-nonsense hard rock, simmering soul, dyed-in-the-wool blues, and a twist of country. Akin to your favorite classic automobile, their influence and imprint only widen over time, selling out even bigger venues and enrapturing new eras of fans with every passing year. These cats have always paved their own lane. Todd, Brian, and Rob started playing music together while still in high school during the early eighties. Becoming Big Head Todd and The Monsters during 1986, that lane has twisted and turned just as much as Highway 66. Following a quiet D.I.Y. rise, the group shook the mainstream with 1993’s now-classic platinum-certified Sister Sweetly. In its wake, Robert Plant tapped the band to open his Fate of Nations Tour. Following Strategem [1994], they unveiled Beautiful World [1997] highlighted by a cover of “Boom Boom” [feat. John Lee Hooker]—which notably became the theme song for NCIS: New Orleans. They welcomed Jeremy to the fold in 2001. After penning “Blue Sky'' at the urging of friends connected to NASA, they notably performed the song live from Mission Control as an interplanetary wakeup call for astronauts on the shuttle. Along the way, the guys joined B.B. King for a “Crossroads” session and toured with blues heroes a la Hubert Sumlin and David “Honeyboy” Edwards. They have headlined Red Rocks Amphitheatre a staggering 35 times. Recognizing “38 years of continuous musical service to fans,” the Colorado Music Hall of Fame inducted the quartet as part of its “Class of 2023.” Now, they’ve crafted the perfect soundtrack to this journey in the form of their 12th full-length offering, Her Way Out.
