PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
Rod Picott
rodpicot.com

"Picott sings with a bare and bones grace reminiscent of Springsteen's Nebraska and the off the cuff lyrical and musical directness of the late Jason Molina. Too many important artists fly under the musical radar today, and Picott is yet another valid wordsmith that needs to be heard." - Glide Magazine

Rod Picott has garnered a loyal cult audience across the U.S. and Europe. He tours tirelessly and continues to garner rave reviews for both his songwriting skills and darkly humorous, compelling live show.

A prolific writer, Picott has recently turned his hand to poetry (God In His Slippers, Murmmeration - Mezcalita Press) short fiction (Out Past The Wires - Working Title Farm) and has a novel in the works titled A Bony Right Fist. Born in the small mill town of South Berwick Maine and residing in Nashville TN since 1994 Tell The Truth & Shame The Devil is the latest release from former construction worker Rod Picott. Tour dates can be viewed at www.rodpicott.com

Sally Barris
sallybarris.com

Sally Barris is an A-list Nashville songwriter who has had songs covered by such top-level artists as Kathy Mattea, Martina McBride, and Lee Ann Womack. Her song "Let The Wind Chase You", recorded by Trisha Yearwood and Keith Urban, received a Grammy nomination for vocal collaboration in 2009.

While her writing credits mightily impress, fans and peers are most captivated by her bright spirit and expressive mountain soprano. Dirty Linen says "Barris knows how to write lyrics that are as forthright as a stream of clear water and how to support them with melodies that share that quality".

Sally also performs with Templeton Thompson and Sam Gay in a trio called "The High Lonesome Dreamers". The Minnesota native has performed Mountain Stage, New Bedford Summer Fest, Wildflower Arts & Music Festival and The Kerrville Folk Festival. Sally is currently touring with her new cd "The Road in Me".

PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
Michelle Malone
michellemalone.com

Michelle Malone's musical roots run deep and wide like the mighty Mississippi river, twisting and turning through rock, blues, and Americana territory. Her music is influenced by the red dirt rhythms from her Georgia home - blues, soul and rock and roll. "Malone is a master at mixing blues and Americana music" (GUITAR PLAYER MAGAZINE). Over the course of Malone's 25+ year career, she has shared stages with artists from Gregg Allman to Indigo Girls, Albert King to Mississippi All-Stars Luther Dickenson, Bon Iver to Brandi Carlile, released more than 15 records so far, and continues to gain respect from her peers. Her latest, Slings and Arrows, which debuted at #8 on the Billboard Blues charts, proves that her slide guitar chops are "outrageously good, a real revelation" (NO DEPRESSION). Her powerful live show will take you on a journey from dirty back roads of the deep slow south to frantic bright city lights, regardless of whether she's performing solo or armed with her electric guitar and her mighty fine band. Michelle "has the soul of a bluesman, the heart of a folk singer, and the guts of a rock and roll star wrapped up in one fiery bad ass" (NASHVILLE RAGE), and she's "uniquely able to blow the roof off the place then turn right around and whisper a soft song that will break your damn heart" (PASTE). Her live shows are upbeat and jubilant, engaging and satisfyingly soul stirring, flush with the raw energy and emotion that's always been a part of her signature sound.
