This Is My Brave: "The Show" CharMeck 2024 brings our community together with stories of resilience and hope. This Is My Brave is a national non-profit helping communities bring awareness to mental health, substance use, and the hope of recovery.  Individuals with lived experience share their stories of hope through artistic expression such as monologue, poetry, original music, dance, and other creative methods. ReCAST II, Resiliency in Communities After Stress and Trauma, and The Office of Violence Prevention, are both programs within Mecklenburg County Public Health bringing this show to our community, by shining a light on resiliencem increasing access to mental health treatment, and reducing community violence.
