The Stanley Brothers All-Star Band brings together, for the first time ever, 6 great musicians who music and lives have been shaped by the musical legacy of the Stanley Brothers. Dewey Brown (fiddle), Tommy Brown (banjo), Randall Hibbitts (bass), Don Rigsby (mandolin), Junior Sisk (guitar), and Ralph Stanley II (guitar), all cut their teeth on the music of Carter and Ralph Stanley and the music is still a huge part of their careers in music today. Expect lots of classics from the Stanley repertoire when these devotees get together for a special concert event where the Stanley sound originated. ~~~~ This concert will be at the Jettie Baker Center located at 348 Clintwood Main Street in Clintwood, VA. ~~~~ The Crooked Road’s Mountains of Music Homecoming is made possible by the support of the Appalachian Regional Commission, Food City, National Endowment for the Arts, Virginia Department of Housing & Economic Development, Virginia Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission, Virginia Tourism Corporation, Blue Ridge Beverage, Virginia Commission for the Arts, Davenport & Company, Market Connections, Community Foundation for the New River Valley, Asset Solutions Corporation, Ballad Health, McGuire Woods LLP, Galax Moose Lodge # 773, Union Bank, Bank of Marion, Bill Kornrich, Breaks Insterstate Park, David & Judie Reemsnyder, Electric Hardwoods, Moonstruck Management, CGI, Rotary Club of Washington County, Jefferson College of Health Sciences, FocusOne Integrated Financial Planning, Chantilly Farm, Downtown Wytheville Association, SWCC Educational Foundation, Walt & Janet Crickmer.
