Featuring Making Movies, D- Smoke, Steve Berlin and David Hidalgo of Los Lobos, The Sensational Barnes Brothers, and Mireya with special guests , Asdru Sierra of Ozomatli, and many more
Celebrate AMERI'KANA is Kansas City's most vibrant and festive day of music, bringing together national, local, and youth performers to celebrate the Black, Indigenous, Immigrant and Latino heroes of American music.
This family-friendly event features a free block party during the day and a ticketed evening concert at GrindersKC with a diverse lineup of national acts including David Hidalgo and Steve Berlin of Los Lobos and Making Movies.
Celebrate AMERI'KANA supports Art as Mentorship, a Kansas City non-profit that empowers young artists to write their own success stories.
AGE POLICY
-Kids 6 and under do not require a ticket when accompanied by a parent/guardian with a ticket.
-Kids ages 7-17 may purchase a discounted kids ticket (GA section only).
-Ages 18 and up require an adult ticket.
-The VIP Section requires a ticket regardless of age
SOLD OUT VIP Section includes: access to the Truman loft area, a holographic laminate & signed poster.
