In early 2020 longtime bandmates, Jack Foster (House of Fools, Sarah Shook & the Disarmers) and Jordan Powers (House of Fools, Far-Less), decided it was time to look to the stars for newfound inspiration. BAL blasted off, drawing from a love of all things sci-fi, as well as a shared affinity for ‘90s Alt/Indie and Heavy Rock music. Joined by longtime bandmates David McLaughlin and Joseph Powers, the four piece deliver a grunge-infused cacophony of song and sound.
…Of Sinking Ships is a dynamic instrumental band from Charlotte, NC featuring members of Hopesfall, HRVRD, One Amazin’ Kid, and Far-Less. Heavy and spacey rock that is rooted in driving rhythms with guitar-led melody. Witnesses say it is the sound of burning stars colliding and collapsing into churning galaxies of all-enveloping black holes.
Larry Wayne Slaton of Old Heavy Hands trades in his telecaster for an acoustic guitar to deliver a poignant, punk rock-infused set of original sing-alongs.
