Carolina Crossing (Website)

Carolina Crossing is a six-piece band based out of Winston-Salem. They cover a wide variety of genres from blues rock to pop and folk with hints of bluegrass. The group started its journey in 2015 as a bluegrass trio and quickly grew into what it is today. Two albums consisting of a cumulative 11 original tunes were released by the group in 2017 and 2018. Carolina Crossing’s influence draws from artists such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tom Petty, John Mayer, The Allman Brothers, Zac Brown Band, etc. Although not all bred as trained musicians, Carolina Crossing has worked tirelessly over the years to develop the skills it takes to produce a balanced and proficient sound.

William Hinson (Website)

William Hinson is an indie-pop singer/songwriter. The Winston-Salem native cites The Beatles, John Mayer, and The 1975 as his biggest influences. William fuses catchy, relatable lyrics with feel-good compositions to create a sound that has landed him performance slots on the radio, festivals, and beloved regional venues such as PULP in the Orange Peel, The Grey Eagle and Cat’s Cradle. William's single "Why Won’t You Be My Girl?" has garnered over 200,000 streams on Spotify alone, with his entire catalog attracting 46,000 monthly listeners on the platform in January of 2019.

Reliably Bad Band (Website)

Reliably Bad is an eight-piece Funk-Pop band based out of Greensboro, North Carolina. Specializing in composing innovative original tunes and arranging funk classics, the band is made up of vocals, sax, trumpet, trombone, guitar, keyboards, bass guitar, and drums. Reliably Bad draws influence from artists such as Vulfpeck, Erykah Badu, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, James Brown, The Funk Brothers, Moonchild, J Dilla, and many more. The band was formed in 2018 with the initial intention of bringing danceable music to the college house show scene in Greensboro. Over the past year, the band has developed a unique signature sound and been supported by a growing fan base. The members of the band have spent their entire lives dedicated to the study of various musical styles, working with some of the top modern musicians of today, and experience performing in professional settings and venues across the country. Reliably Bad is committed to exploring innovative ways to engage audiences, refine their groove-oriented sound, and continue to build the musical community around them.
