Martha Bartz brings a new show to MiddleC Jazz with Musical Director, Dr. Mory Ortman. The show is OFF THE CHARTS both figuratively, as Martha delivers a musical romp that promises belly laughs, Broadway, standards and surprises; and literally, as Martha unveils new arrangements by a host of of New York’s finest.

Martha Bartz is an accomplished and versatile vocalist performing regularly as a contemporary cabaret artist, classical concert and oratorio soloist, recitalist and opera principal. Ms. Bartz has performed as a guest artist in prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall and The Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City, The Great Auditorium in Ocean Grove, NJ, Gusman Hall in Miami. She has headlined with many prominent orchestras and organizations such as the New York City Chamber Orchestra, the Pilsen Radio Sympony of Czechoslovakia, The Charlotte Symphony, The Miami Bach Society Chamber Orchestra, The Gay Mens Chorus of South Florida and Fort Lauderdale and other church, synagogue and civic organizations throughout the US. Ms Bartz has performed cabarets in NY to FL to SD!
DR. MORY ORTMAN
Dr Mory Ortman, Music Director, is in demand as a freelance pianist, accompanist, vocal coach, and music director in New York City. Mory frequently performs with The Manhattan Concert Productions at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. He is in demand across the US. He is the Music Director of the classical and musical theatre summer programs at Quisisana resort in Maine. Mory also performs as accompanist and vocalist with the Manhattan Chorale and the 4K cabaret.
Jeff Harnar is an award-winning cabaret, concert and recording artist. His Carnegie Hall appearances include both the Cole Porter and Noel Coward Centennial Galas. Jeff’s PBS televised concerts include “The 1959 Broadway Songbook” and “American Songbook: Stephen Sondheim” (co-starring KT Sullivan). Jeff has won multiple MAC, Bistro and BroadwayWorld Cabaret Awards and The Noel Coward Foundation Cabaret Award. I KNOW THINGS NOW My Life in Sondheim’s Words (PS Classics) is Jeff’s fifth solo album.
