CELEBRATE THE MUSIC AND MAGIC OF THE HOLIDAYS WITH THE POCONO POPS!
Artistic Director, Scott Coulter, is thrilled to announce the first ever Pocono Mountains Music Festival holiday concert, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, on Sunday, December 5th at 3PM at Stroudsburg’s historic Sherman Theater. This event marks the Festival’s second event in partnership with the Sherman.
The Most Wonderful Time of the Year is a holiday concert extravaganza featuring The Pocono Pops! Orchestra and exceptional vocalists from Broadway and beyond. The Pops! will be joined onstage by select gifted student musicians, as well as the Pocono Pops! Chorus comprised of talented singers from eight area high schools performing holiday classics.
This special concert event designed to bring all the people of the Poconos together is the beginning of what will become an annual holiday tradition for friends and families all over Pennsylvania.
Scott noted: “I love the holidays and I love music. The fact that we get to bring those two things together as a community makes me very happy. We've all had a long, trying couple of years and this is a chance to make a joyful noise and celebrate the gift of being together."
About The Pocono Mountains Music Festival. Originally founded in 2009 as the Buck Hill Skytop Music Festival by Buck Hill resident, David S. Mazza, M.D., the Festival has presented world-class performers from a wide range of performing arts disciplines. The mission of the Pocono Mountains Music Festival, together with its Performing Arts Camp is to engage world-class talent from all musical genres to entertain, enrich and educate.
