Direct Hit is a midwestern punk band, led by singer/songwriter Nick Woods since 2007. Featuring a rotating cast of members influenced in equal measure by The Ramones, The Thermals, Blink 182 and Andrew WK, the group signed to San Francisco’s Fat Wreck Chords in 2015, and will feature long-time drummer Logan Stang, along with collaborators Ben Sargent and Patrick Schwoegler at this year’s Breakin’ Even Fest.

Gritty pop-punk with charging guitars and melodic, yet gruff, vocals; American Television has established themselves as one of DC's prominent fixtures of the district's active punk scene. Their live performance is a joyous release of energy in contrast to their Magic 8 Ball world view of "outlook not so good." Wiretap Records released the band's debut LP, Watch It Burn, in 2020.
