Unheard LA is KPCC/LAist’s live storytelling series featuring authentic first-person experiences. As we take a break from the stage, we've created a series of new virtual experiences (recorded for radio broadcast) featuring Unheard LA stories and insightful conversations.
On December 16, we’ll take a deeper listen to three origin stories from Unheard LA. Host Bruce Lemon, Jr. and Race In LA’s Dana Amihere will welcome storytellers Daniel Mazzacane, Ash Nichols, and Pickle, with their stories once again taking the (virtual) stage. They’ll share pivotal, deeply personal moments in their journeys to fully realizing their identities. We’re getting everyone together for a deep dive into gender identity and the way it informs how we move through the world.
As this is a very different Unheard LA season, we have a different way to get your tickets. We're happy to offer tickets on a Pay-What-You-Can model, with price points at $20, $10, $5 and Free.
Our virtual events are part of KPCC/LAist’s commitment to public service journalism and your support is essential to our existence. In an effort to continue our coverage, we are introducing a new way for you to support our virtual events with a Pay-What-You-Want ticket option. We are committed to keeping our events free to attend – there will always be a no-cost ticket option. In addition, you now have the option to purchase a ticket of $5, $10, or $20 to help power KPCC/LAist’s work and coverage.
