Where In The Hell Is The Lavender House? is the story behind the (still) anonymous cult icon LONGMONT POTION CASTLE, whose work spread like wildfire throughout the underground long before the internet days and whose dedicated fans demand more than the few stories out there now (Rolling Stone, Vice & Onion AV Club). Of the 7 screenings in NYC and Philly, the film sold out instantly so the filmmakers are taking the show on road well before it’s reached any streaming or physical distribution ensuring all the live screenings to be your first chance to see the the film. The first week of screenings will find them in Richmond, Washington DC, Baltimore, Louisville, Nashville, Charlotte and Raleigh.
In addition to the film, comedian MAJOR ENTERTAINER will be hosting and LPC himself will be phoning in for LIVE LPC CALLS!! If that wasn’t enough there will be a quick Q&A with the director (and in select cities celebrities and musicians) as well as TOUR EXCLUSIVE Longmont Potion Castle ephemera!
LPC has a legion of fans, including many musicians and celebrities that are featured in the film, including (executive producer) Rainn Wilson, Andrew Bujalski, Dave Mustaine (ex-Metallica) as well as members of Pig Destroyer, Krieg, Municipal Waste, Dag Nasty, Weyes Blood, Sleep, Pissed Jeans, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Cattle Decapitation, Pinback, The Locust and many more. The soundtrack to the film, released on Burger Records, charted on Billboard’s comedy albums at #8.
