Frank Stickemz, better known as Young Flillmoe, is making waves in the music industry with his raw lyrical prowess and street-savvy narratives. Born in San Francisco, California, and nurtured in the heart of hip-hop, Young Fillmoe’s journey is an inspiring testament to resilience, talent, and perseverance.

As the son of the legendary Fillmore Slim, Frank’s introduction to the world of music and street life began at an early age. Relocating to New York during his formative years, he landed in Brooklyn before moving to Harlem, immersing himself in the birthplace of hip-hop. Surrounded by the sounds of Kool G Rap, LL Cool J, RUN DMC, Whodini, and more, Frank’s reality echoed through every cassette tape he could get his hands on, fueling his passion for the genre.

Frank split his time between New York and the Bay Area during his teenage years, sharpening his verbal skills and gaining inspiration from both coasts. His permanent move back to the Bay Area in the late 1990s marked a pivotal turning point. He quickly dominated the underground hip-hop scene, contributing significantly to Northern California’s “Hyphy Movement.”

Collaborating with prominent Bay Area artists such as Keak Da Sneak, Mistah FAB, and Clyde Carson, Frank’s unique style gained recognition, leading to numerous airplay opportunities nationwide. His contributions to compilations like “Fire, Volume 1” and “Dopegame 2” solidified his standing in the music world.

Frank Stickemz’s recent single, “I Can’t Lose,” made its way onto the soundtrack of the motion picture “Dead End,” starring Vivica A. Fox, further expanding his reach. His latest release, “Youngstaz,” stands as a deeply reflective track, blending melodic sounds with personal emotion and introspective lyrics, offering listeners a raw glimpse into Frank’s journey.
