Rock icon Billy Idol will take the Main Stage Sunday, August 8 at 7:30 pm. Idol was an early architect of the sound, style, and fury of punk rock. His lip- curling sneer and fist-pumping persona vaulted him into the mainstream as one of MTV’s first megastars, making him one of the most recognizable faces in pop music. He has sold 40 million albums while scoring numerous platinum albums worldwide, nine top forty singles in the U.S. and 10 in the U.K. including “Dancing With Myself, “White Wedding,” “Rebel Yell,” “Eyes Without A Face,” “Flesh For Fantasy” and “Cradle Of Love.”
With their uniquely feral brand of rock ‘n’ roll, The Foxies are a Nashville-based power trio built on thrashing punk energy and the hypnotic pageantry of electronic pop. Composed of front woman Julia Lauren Bullock, guitarist Jake Ohlbaum, and drummer Rob Bodley, The Foxies are known for their recent explosive singles “Summer Never Dies,” “Timothée Chalamet,” and “Screws.”
All seating for this show is reserved, and tickets will be $40, $45, and $50. Each concert ticket includes admission to the State Fair for the day of the show when purchased in advance. Venue opens at 6:30 pm for show seating.
