Poem In Your Pocket Day: Ekphrastic Style
The word ekphrastic is derived from the Greek language. It means description or art inspired by another art form. Accept this fun challenge by creating a poem inspired by an object in our collection and share it, if you’d like! At 2 p.m. we will gather at the Entrance Desk to read our poetry in front of our chosen artwork. This experience will be facilitated by Maryhill Museum of Art’s Curator of Education, Louise Palermo.
Cost: free for museum members; $5 non-members.
