Special Day for Special Needs
To protect staff and visitors, the Portsmouth Museums are requiring mask for everyone 2 & above
All guests, including members, will need to register for timed tickets in advance of their visit.
Space is limited and every member of your party must have a ticket. Infants under the age of 2 are complimentary, but you must reserve a ticket for them.
The holidays are here! Come visit Santa, have your photo taken with him, decorate a holiday photo frame, and have a jolly good time!
The Children’s Museum of Virginia welcomes families with children who have behavioral health and/or developmental challenges. Visitors can explore the museum, use adaptive materials, relax in a quiet space, and enjoy a reduced number of visitors.
Admission is $5 per person and one caregiver is admitted free.
Members should have their subscription number ready to reserve their free member tickets. Please bring your membership card and valid photographic identification to present to the ticketing agent the day of your visit.
If you have valid complimentary tickets or a membership voucher or received complimentary tickets or a membership voucher that expired between March 2020 and March 31, 2021, please contact Ian Francis at firstname.lastname@example.org regarding redeeming these items.
In order to serve you better, please have your tickets (electronic or printed) and all necessary identification ready to present to our customer service agents upon entry to the museum.
