The O’Jays and Kool & The Gang

  August 9, 2019 7:30 PM

General Admission and Reserved seating is still available.

The O'Jays scored their first number 1 and million-seller with "Backstabbers" in 1973, and followed that success with various chart-topping pop and R&B singles including "Love Train," "For The Love of Money," and "Use Ta Be My Girl." They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2005. The O'Jays continue touring today, bringing the same electrifying energy they've had for more than 50 years, connecting fans to an era and a style that formed the soundtrack for their lives. The legendary group's final album, and their first new studio album in 18 years, The Last Word, is now available in stores and on all streaming platforms.

Classic hits such as "Celebration," "Cherish," and "Ladies Night" earned Kool & The Gang two Grammy Awards®, seven American Music Awards, and 31 gold and platinum albums. The group has performed together for more than 50 years, longer than any R&B group in history. Today they enjoy global fame and recognition and a following that spans generations, due in part to their widely-sampled catalog featuring their bulletproof funk and jazzy arrangements. Kool & The Gang's drum beats, bass, guitar, and signature horn lines lace the tracks of numerous artists including the Beastie Boys, Jay-Z, Madonna, and Janet Jackson. Their music is also featured on the soundtracks of Rocky, Saturday Night Fever, Pulp Fiction, and more.
