WILLIS is an indie-band based in Nashville, TN.
With psychedelic soundscapes, a touch of indie, alternative blues and surfer rock, WILLIS wears authenticity fastened on to their sleeves. For them, it is not about imitation, but instead they seek to illicit pure and honest emotion to the highest degree. Above all, WILLIS creates music not just for aural enjoyment, but to also deeply resonate and connect with.
Consisting of Murphy Billings (Bass & Vocals), Glenn O'Steen (Drums), Will O'Steen (Synths), Edward Armstead (Guitar), and Trey Murphy (Guitar), the five members have combined their musical talents to create their brand of indie rock. Having all attended the same school in their hometown of Florence, Alabama, they formed as a band in 2016 and the rest was history.

After meeting in college at the University of Florida, Robbie Kingsley, Franco Solari, Dylan McCue, Andre Escobar and Zach Levy started their musical journey together through a slew of long nights and wild house shows in their living room. Ironically, from the tattered carpeting of their college house arose a refined sound that when recorded resonated heavily with students & strangers alike. Earworm hooks, intuitive melodies, and a refreshing but familiar sound led to early streaming success for their debut singles "Younger" and "Stay."

Their debut EP "He Seems Upset" garnered attention from Ones To Watch, Lyrical Lemonade, and Miami New Times. Time has passed, and The Hails have matured. Their sophomore project "Alive In Strange Ways" further explored the boundaries of their sound and propelled them into a sold out run of Florida shows including their first festival appearance on the mainstage at Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival.
