Jimmy stands at the very center of the comedy world. That's not only because he's the ultimate "comic's comic," (as he's often called), but also because he represents where comedy is going, and everybody wants to come along.
A natural wonder to see live, Jimmy's act is engaging, lively and totally hilarious. His quick wit and command of the stage takes crowd participation to a whole new hilarious level. A consummate professional, his act is different every night depending on the mood of the club and will have everyone bent over from each and every fast hitting punch line. Jimmy's rapid-fire comedy and quick wit makes an evening with him fun for everyone.
His reputation has earned him invitations to the famed Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, The U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, and the Chicago Comedy Festival.
Jimmy has also found a comfortable home on television with appearances on “Conan,” “Tom Green Live,” “The Playboy Morning Show,” “Maron,” @midnight,” and AXS Live.” He has also appeared on “Last Comic Standing,” as the host of "National Lampoon's Funny Money" on the Game Show Network and as the co-host of AMC's "Movies at our House". He has also hosted episodes of VH1's "The Surreal Life", NBC's "Late Friday" and VH1's "Love Lounge". Sitcom appearances include guest spots on "That 70's Show" and "Becker". He has performed stand-up on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", "The Late Late Show", and his own half-hour special, "Comedy Central Presents Jimmy Pardo".
Unafraid to tackle any medium, Jimmy acted in the Dreamworks' studio version of "Dreamgirls" (which he was cut out of... let's see if it makes the DVD... he didn't!) and the indie features, "Relative Strangers" and "The Godfather of Green Bay". As for the world of theatre, he is the co-writer and star of a critically acclaimed one-man show, subtly titled, "Attention Must Be Paid: The Jimmy Pardo Story" and a live pilot presentation, "Jimmy Pardo's Dance Party". In addition, he hosts his own monthly talk show, "Running Your Trap with Jimmy Pardo" and a live version of the classic game show "Match Game" at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles. His podcast "Never Not Funny" was named "Best of 2007" by the iTunes staff. Most recently he’s been seen on “Pitching Off w/Doug Benson,” “Black Cat,” and “Stalking Emo.”
