Adam McKnight
Performing all styles of music, from R&B to Gospel, Pop and Opera, Adam McKnight amazes and astounds audiences. Elton John was so impressed with Adam that he made him his vocal arranger. He subsequently toured with Elton John for several years, performing everywhere from Live 8 to Madison Square Garden.
Maroon 5 was so impressed with Adam McKnight that they asked him and Voice of Atlanta (McKnight’s Atlanta-based gospel choir) to join them for their halftime show at Super Bowl LIII.
Performing on-stage in bands since age 13, Adam has settled in comfortably not just as a singer, but also an entertainer, putting his heart and soul into every song he sings and enjoying the experience.
He has performed with such noted celebrities as Stevie Wonder, B.B.King, Diana Ross, Gloria Estefan, Bonnie Raitt, Zack Brown Band, Lou Gossett Jr., Robert Wagner, Faith Hill, Aaron Neville, Kelly Price, the Pointer Sisters, and the Temptations.
Middle C Jazz was so impressed with Adam McKnight and his performance of Stevie Wonder’s music with Noel Freidline that they asked him to return, presenting the music of his musical mentors: the trailblazing creator of “Sweet Soul”, Mr. Sam Cooke; “Mr. Soul” Donnie Hathaway and the incomparable Luther Vandross.
Join Adam McKnight and the Noel Freidline Quartet featuring guitarist Eric Brice (Chaka Kahn) as they present a jazz celebration of three of the most influential voices of soul and R&B.
