Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Melissa Etheridge will perform at the Main Stage on closing night of the Fair, Sunday, August 11. Etheridge’s roots rock has been championed by both critics and fans for more than 30 years. Her 1988 self-titled debut album peaked at No. 22 on the Billboard 200 but it was Etheridge’s 1993 album Yes I Am, featuring “Come to My Window” and “I’m the Only One” that helped her hit her commercial and artistic stride. She celebrated her highest-charting album Your Little Secret in 1995, won an Academy Award for her original song “I Need to Wake Up” in 2007, and has remained one of America’s favorite female singer/songwriters.
