Soak up the warm summer nights with some of Portland's talented songwriters! Busk At Dusk is on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays this summer, featuring two talented songwriters each night. The event is free, grab a cold cocktail and enjoy the Show Bar patio!
This night features Kitchen Congregation and Shiloh Mae.

Kitchen Congregation is the solo project of Hannah Morton who has been writing and performing music in bands for at least a decade. There’s something about the melodies of Hannah’s songs that draw you in - the notes seem to change at the perfect places to be natural but unapologetically emotive. The name for the moniker was a light-hearted play on an observation that Hannah made about how it seems social gatherings somehow end with friends gathering around in the kitchen. The songs play around with observations Hannah has made about herself and the people around her with a bedroom pop / folk sound. The live kitchen congregation set features Hannah's vocals and vulnerable lyrics backed by finger picked electric guitar and occasional tracks and violin.

Shiloh Mae is a Portland singer-songwriter with a penchant for melancholy but a bent toward hope. She began playing as a solo artist in 2018 and her debut EP, All My Metaphors, released in 2022, serves as an introduction to her nuanced, emotive lyricism. She cites influences from 70's folk classics to 90s soft rock to the indie music of today. These musical influences, along with her love of reading, heavily inform her image-driven writing. Lately, Shiloh is quietly working to record new music with a variety of producers as she expands and develops her songwriting and sound. She also writes and plays with her brother Jared in folk-rock duo Bird and Willow.
