In this intermediate sewing class, you will use the Shirt No1 pattern from 100 Acts of Sewing to cut and sew a simple top with short sleeves! This is a fantastic starter project, and comes in sizes XS to 4X, so it is size inclusive. In class, you will learn how to read a pattern, cut your fabric pieces, sew with french seams, and finish the neck with bias binding. You will have some customization options around neckline adjustment and hem length to produce your desired look and fit. Each student will leave with one completed shirt and pattern to produce more of these tops at home!
When signing up for this class, please select your desired garment size based on the sizes listed below. If you feel you don’t fit within the size range offered, email us so we can help you out! We try our best to be size inclusive and we don’t want anyone to feel turned away!
