W/ Infinity Shred
Formed quite literally in a garage in Portland, Oregon in 2012, Long Hallways has since produced 4 albums, each one more expansive than the previous. With the support of production and engineering by Brandon Eggleston (Modest Mouse, Om, Pelican, The Dandy Warhols), the band came to develop a very unique soundscape. Long Hallways' thoughtful approach, string and horn sections, piano, highly stylized bass, skillful rhythms, effected guitar tones, and moody mosaic composition captures its listeners. Long Hallways announced in 2022 that their fourth album, "I Still Believe In Us" would be their final. Show Bar will host the band's final performance and first and only live performance of this album. Don't miss your chance to see this one-of-a-kind "garage orchestra" give their final send off.
"...I Still Believe In Us absolutely stands on its own as a beautifully-crafted album unto itself. Right from the propulsive wistfulness of opener "Our Last Days", the band continues their streak of writing long-form instrumental compositions that pull on the heartstrings and take you on an incredible journey towards something that feels triumphant and hopeful. There are few bands that come to mind who are able to consistently pull off this feat, namely legendary bands like yndi halda and Do Make Say Think" - Nick Cusworth heavyblogisheavy.comWander
Wander is an all Filipino-American instrumental post-rock band based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Formed by brothers Ryan and Christian Francisco, Joseph Aguda, and Bernard Barcela. Wander presents a grand, cinematic soundscape, consisting of pristine arpeggiated clean guitars punctuated by heavy, groove-centered explosions. Their style flows seamlessly from serene to bombastic, from quiet contemplative stillness to angry, cathartic blasts of reverb-drenched, distortion-filled bliss. Since Wander's start in 2010, the band has released four full-length albums to date: Mourning (2016), Glass (2017), March (2019), and Home (2022), and have shared the stage with similar acts such as Tricot, El Ten Eleven, and Covet.
Three lifelong musicians and kindred spirits—Clara Warnaar, Damon Hardjowirogo, and Nathan Ritholz—architect high-concept instrumental bliss from dystopic guitars, cinematic synths, live symphony, and glitch-y transmissions.
