Directed by Christopher Shorr
A chilling clown show set in Chicago in the 1930’s. A bit of music, a bit of blood. A two-bit thug from New York takes advantage of hard times, and weasels his way into politics. The more he gets, the more he wants. After watching Germans acquiesce to Hitler’s rise, Brecht wrote this play for an American audience as a warning about the ongoing threat of fascism, and the danger of complacency.
Venue: THE ARENA THEATRE, located on Moravian College’s North campus (1200 Main Street, Bethlehem, PA) on the lower level of the Haupert Union Building, at the corner of Laurel and Monocacy Streets.
Ticket prices: $15 general admission; $10 senior citizens; $5 Moravian College faculty & staff; Students pay-what-you-will at the door
