Bill Wadhams

In 1985, MTV played the hottest music videos in Power Rotation—once an hour, day and night. Viewers were "obsessed" with Bill Wadhams of the synth-pop band, Animotion as he sang, who do you want me to be, to make you sleep with me, dressed in a Roman warrior’s breastplate and helmet in front of the Hollywood sign. His 60-minute solo show - Up In The Air - traces one man's musical journey as he rockets to international fame and seeks to find his true voice, family, redemption, and home.

Ben Landsverk is an American composer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist, based in Portland OR, whose work focuses on social change through music. Hailed as a “prominent Portland composer” (Bloomberg Magazine) and “a unique talent” (Willamette Week), he is best known for his work as one half of the duo Wonderly. With musical partner Jim Brunberg, Wonderly’s compositions include numerous podcast/radio theme songs, including the New York Times’ The Daily and Cheryl Strayed’s Dear Sugar Radio; many indie film scores and soundtracks, including James Westby’s At the Video Store and Jon Garcia’s Luz; and three studio albums, We Are, Story We Tell, and Appropriate til Death. Wonderly is currently finishing their 4th studio album, set for release in November 2024

An active session musician and orchestral/choral arranger, Landsverk has worked with such musical luminaries as Father John Misty, Pink Martini, Storm Large, Smokey Robinson, Van Dyke Parks, Rachel Taylor Brown, Kasey Anderson, and Ruby Friedman Orchestra. From 2003-2015, he was the chief collaborator and music director for avant-garde performance artist Holcombe Waller, and performed at such festivals as Under The Radar (NYC), Festival de Teatro de Curitiba (Brazil), Queer Zagreb (Croatia), and Centre Pompidou (Metz and Paris, France). Landsverk is also the founder and director of Portland’s Low Bar Chorale; and of Voices Unlimited, Portland’s flagship choir for people with neurodiversity.

Landsverk is currently working on his first solo album, scheduled for release in Fall 2024. His performance at Show Bar features songs from the album, paired with video art by collaborator and partner Jennie Baker.

Maurice Tani is a "supercalifornigraphic" singer-songwriter known for his wry/rye-to-romantic songwriting, agile guitar style and expressive singing. His band, Maurice Tani & 77 El Deora has been the source of untold, but exquisite suffering for over 20 years. Tani now has 8 albums to his credit. The latest is “All In!” recorded at Greaseland USA with an all-star cast of Little Village artists.
