Studio Series: November will highlight the diversity of repertoire for which Richmond Ballet is known. Artistic Director Stoner Winslett’s Rachmaninoff Rhapsody sweeps audiences away in a display of virtuosic dancing. Salvatore Aiello’s Extensions follows a dancer along his introspective journey in the studio. An excerpt from William Soleau’s Closing Doors delights with its humor. The program concludes with to the end, a world premiere by Associate Artistic Director Ma Cong. To the end continues the thread of Cong’s Studio Series: September premiere, alone, beside me, as he pays homage to society’s reactions to the pandemic and the hope for a brighter future.
