SPECIAL THIS YEAR – Pumpkin Fest Preview

For the first time, the Pumpkin Fest will kick off with a Special Preview Event featuring beer, wine, food & dessert tastings, live music, hay rides, petting farm, mini corn maze, special activities, and, of course, the pumpkin patch! The event is open to guests 21 and older. Pumpkins not included.

Tickets are limited and include all the food, beverages, and activities. Proceeds from this special evening will go to support Huntley College of Agriculture students and programs.

$10 of your ticket purchase is a tax-deductible donation to the Don B. Huntley College Excellence Fund.

After the Preview Event, the Pumpkin Fest will run from Oct. 1 to 30, 2022. Corporate sponsorships are available this year for those interested in brand recognition to 100,000 guests, the Cal Poly Pomona community, and various CPP websites. For more information, contact Pamela A. Jones-Tintle, Cal Poly Pomona’s executive director of development, at (909) 869-2875 or pajones@cpp.edu

Safety Procedures

We are following current L.A. County Health and Cal Poly Pomona COVID-19 policies.

We’re working hard to create the safest possible environment for everyone coming to the event, including our guests, staff, volunteers and the animals in our care. We ask that everyone follow public health guidelines and wash/sanitize their hands often.

Please do not attend the event if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or are under quarantine or isolations orders.

The safety of our guests and team is our number one priority. Guests arriving at the event will go through metal detection. All bags, purses, backpacks, waist packs, etc. will be examined prior to entering.

Sharp objects (including pocketknives and metal chains), firearms, or other items that could be considered a weapon are strictly prohibited and should be left at home or secured in your vehicle.

Cal Poly Pomona’s Pumpkin Fest does not tolerate guests who fight and/or harass other guests while on our property. The University Police Department is onsite ensuring the safety of the event. Please visit the CPP University Police Department page for more information on safety.  https://www.cpp.edu/police/about/index.shtml
