Lucy's Comedy Live is proud to present the best stand-up comedy show in the burbs on January 5, 2024, at 8:30 pm at Raue Center for the Arts. The show features the incredibly talented headliner Mr. Derick, who has been recently spotlighted on the Joe Rogan Experience. Mr. Derick is known for his clever comedy with a quick left turn into absurdity, and he has appeared at the Just for Laughs Festival five times. The Montreal Gazette raves about his ability to make hilarious comedy out of any subject. Mr. Derick's act is a blend of searing social commentary and skilled character performance, which he honed while studying in the Second City Conservatory in Chicago. Originally from Montreal, Mr. Derick now makes his home in Chicago after becoming a U.S. citizen.

The show also features the talented Marcus Hendricks as a featured comic. Marcus is a season regular on NBC as a uniformed officer of Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. He fell in love with stand-up comedy after attending a comedy amateur night and writing his first few jokes, and he has been performing all over the Midwest since then. Marcus will soon be headlining his first full weekend in Niles, Michigan, in February 2024.
