Without mimicking and yet continue to be, unlike any other R&B group. You may have loved their 90's hits- "Heaven," "Where Do You Want Me to put it," "Touch Me", or the A cappella vignettes of Sam Cooke's- classics "Cupid," "What a wonderful world", and The Drifters "Under the Boardwalk". Get ready to fall in love with them again.

The group stays true to their influential sounds of Motown Chess and Philadelphia soul. Still making music, they continue to take fun, sexy, and fresh lyrical approaches to timeless topics of love and heartache. "3.0" features production and musical collaborations from some of the industry's most talented musicians, producers, and former SOLO band members - M. (Majik) Redmond, Marquis Ray" Anderson, Lez Lemon, and (original band member) J. P. Delaire.

Known for their trademark vocal harmonies, textures, SOLO (Dan, D Nell, John David, and Rob Bass) is a fusion of modern music production with traditional soulful melodies. "We decided to get back together because our fans wanted to hear more music," says founding member D Nell Chavis.

Members of HI-FIVE pose in promotional photo HIGH-FIVE signed to Jive Records in late-1989 and released their eponymous debut album in 1990. The album went platinum and was produced by Teddy Riley; it included such singles as "I Just Can't Handle It" (R&B #10), "I Can't Wait Another Minute" (Pop #8, R&B #1), and their biggest hit to date, "I Like the Way (The Kissing Game)", which went to number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and the U.S. Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart

The group's second LP, Keep It Goin' On, came out in 1992 with several tracks from this album, including "She's Playing Hard To Get" (Pop #5, R&B #2) and the R. Kelly-penned "Quality Time" (Pop #38, R&B #3) got major airplay in East Coast (US) urban markets.
