From a curly haired four year old, belting "Twinkle Twinkle" from the top of her grandmother's coffee table, to a young teen on her church stage and in County Fair talent shows, to a passionate young female singer/songwriter, Bonner Rhae Rhoden is only going up from here. A powerful voice with the perfect hint of Texas twang, along with the ability to captivate any audience, allow her to pull all eyes and ears toward her as she shares the honest music and lyrics that she pours her heart into.
A 28 year old Americana artist based in Houston, Texas, Bonner was singing before she could talk, picked up a guitar at the age of 14, and wrote her first song, Trail of Dust, by 17. Whether she's writing uplifting tunes about better things to come, or an eery ballad about "shootin' a man," as she lightly puts it, listeners can count on being drawn in by her storytelling abilities. Drawing inspiration from her own life, love, and hurt, as well as that of the people around her, she is relatable, endearing, and Texas as hell.
Bonner is a wife, an Aggie, a dog mom, a lover of summer, and a real go-getter. She's just getting started.
