THE COBBS

After years of a revolving door of bandmates, multiple tours with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Kasabian, and shows with The Strokes, The Killers, Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Babyshambles, for a decade now The Cobbs have consisted of Ryan Cobb(vocals/guitar), Paul Cobb(vocals/guitar), Chris Coello (drums), Cody Ferdinand(bass), and Michael Prince(keys). The Cobbs history of the band takes a bit of a roadmap. This Philadelphia based group began as Ty Cobb, a fitting name for a band with members named Ryan Cobb and Paul Cobb. After a full length and ep release under the Ty Cobb name and a few releases overseas with Polydor as Mad Action, Ryan and Paul took a couple of years off, touring and taking care of drums and guitar duties in the Philly band Mazarin, prior to completing the record “Sing the Deathcapades”. Just to add another new direction on the band's map, they changed names once again, this time, finally landing on The Cobbs.

CIGARETTES FOR BREAKFAST

Cigarettes for Breakfast was founded by Matthew Whiteford in the winter of 2019 in Philadelphia, PA. Mainly inspired by ’90s alternative bands, such as My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive and Ride, Cigarettes for Breakfast exhibits classic shoegaze elements, including a plethora of effects, intricate pedal-work and washy, droning guitars. The majority of the instrumentation is self-recorded and performed by Whiteford with the full band consisting of Matt Whiteford, Tony Rossi, Donnie CoCo, Chris Doyle, and Cameron Kynett.
