Steven Wilson is an English musician and record producer. Currently a solo artist, he became known as the founder, lead guitarist, and singer-songwriter of the band Porcupine Tree; he was also a member of several other bands. A self-taught producer, audio engineer, guitar, and keyboard player, Wilson also plays bass guitar, autoharp, hammered dulcimer, and flute. Despite being mainly associated with progressive rock music, his influences and work have encompassed diverse genres such as psychedelia, pop, extreme metal, electronic, and jazz, among others. His concerts incorporate quadraphonic sound and elaborate visuals.

In a career spanning more than 30 years, Wilson has made music prolifically and earned critical acclaim. His honors include four Grammy nominations, two with Porcupine Tree; one with his collaborative band, Storm Corrosion; and one as a solo artist. In 2015, he received three awards at the London Progressive Music Awards for his services to the world of prog rock music and was crowned "king of prog rock." He has been described by publications such as the Daily Telegraph as "the most successful British artist you’ve never heard of."

Paul Draper was the frontman of Mansun, one of the most iconic bands of the late 1990s. The band's debut album, Attack of the Grey Lantern, entered the U.K. chart at no. 1, and over the course of three albums, it managed to maintain critical and commercial success with a series of intensely radio-friendly yet increasingly experimental records.

The band split in 2003 while recording its fourth LP (later released as part of Kleptomania) and Draper all but disappeared from view. He returned this summer with the release of his long-awaited debut solo album, Spooky Action
