Join ISU Culinary Food Scientist students to learn about the science behind foods and how to safely prepare food. ISU students will be demonstrating how to make vegetable filled egg muffins and tasty s'more dessert bars. Participants will learn basic knife skills and practice food safety during this class. Youth ages 5 to 14 years old welcome. You don’t want to miss this class because it will be “Deliciously Scientific”! The Kids in the Kitchen class is sponsored by the Iowa Egg Council.
The Culinary Science Club is open to all students at ISU. The club exposes members to the food industry through guest speakers, tours of manufacturing facilities and activities for the community like this culinary class!
