In this floral design bootcamp, flower maven and long time wedding florist Lorena Cortez will tackle one of the most important parts of a wedding or event...THE FLOWERS! This bootcamp will instruct you on how to make all of the floral essentials for your wedding, including your own boutonnière, a flower crown, a small bridesmaid bouquet, and a 5x5 wooden centerpiece! Lorena will blow your mind with her wealth of floral knowledge, and she’ll get you feeling confident about taking flower duties into your own hands! This class will cover where to source stems & other materials (without breaking the bank), as well as which flowers & greens are best for events. Lorena will share her tips and specific techniques for creating beautiful arrangements, as well as answer all of your "how-to" questions so you are ready for any event! Each student will leave with three finished floral projects and a detailed handout reviewing the main class concepts and resources for sourcing flowers and floral supplies.
