The Manuel Kaufmann Jazz Orchestra performs post-boppish original compositions and fresh takes on the Great American Songbook. The compositions and arrangements sway from introspective and intimate sounds to more lush yet vigorous and powerful ones.
This performance will also include a tribute to Eric Jackson, the legendary DJ from WGBH Jazz Radio.
