Shawn Brown

With the release of his most recent single, "Road of Bones", PDX singer-songwriter Shawn Brown has elevated his unique folk/songwriter sound by leaning further into a pop sensibility and creating one of his catchiest songs to date. “Road of Bones” conjures that 90’s rock and folk/country style, which is not only timeless but in recent times has found a resurgence with young and old listeners alike. “Road of Bones” was written with the listener in mind”, says Brown. “It’s a song hopefully folks can relate to - I can’t wait to play this one live for everybody.” His 2022 EP The Rain Parade is available to stream now, and “Road of Bones” will be available 6/2 on Spotify, Apple Music, and all other streaming platforms.

“Road of Bones” is the continued evolution of Shawn Brown’s songwriting and passion for hooks. The song comes from new songwriting sessions he began just after the release of his 2022 EP The Rain Parade. Brown’s comeback into writing and releasing music comes thanks to his longtime friend, Rafa Cirne Lima, who introduced him to a writing and production alliance that includes Grecco Buratto (Shakira) and Brendan Buckley (Morrisey). Lima also played bass guitar in the effort. The track involved help from engineer Alberto Lopez (for vocals) and was mastered by Grammy winner Robert Carranza.

Bre Gregg

Bre Gregg is the voice of Red Bird, a rock-soul band in Portland, Oregon. She is also a wildly soulful singer and songwriter. When she opens her mouth you hear a rich musical history of back alley clubs filled with deeply authentic swamp soul, visceral blues and smokey jazz. Her voice is technically superb after years of study and performance, but her ability to connect with the music and her audiences make her performances profoundly intimate.

Rock Era magazine had this to say, “Bre’s amazing, soulful and flawless voice is going to stun you…It’s an instant charm I have never felt before, while her ability to hit every high and low note perfectly will leave you speechless.” Good Day Oregon compared her to an impressive list of artists including Bonnie Raitt, Amy Winehouse and Joss Stone.

Bre is also proud to have co-founded She’s Speaking, an organization that creates forums and spaces for women’s artistry to be heard by all people.

Ben Landsverk

Ben Landsverk is an American composer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist. Hailed as a "prominent Portland composer" (Bloomberg Magazine) and praised for his "stunning prowess on viola and mandolin" (Willamette Week), he is best known for his work as one half of the duo Wonderly. Their compositions include numerous podcast/radio theme songs, including the New York Times' The Daily and Cheryl Strayed's Dear Sugar Radio; many indie film scores and soundtracks, including James Westby's At the Video Store and Jon Garcia's Luz; and two studio albums, We Are and Story We Tell.
