Lyles Station Museum and School and Princeton Theater and Community Center are bringing Alonzo Fields home to Gibson County.

This one man show, written by James Still and performed by James Creer, is based on the story of Gibson County Indiana native Alonzo Fields.  Born and raised in Lyles Station, Alonzo served 21 years in the White House as Chief Butler under Herbert Hoover, FDR, Harry Truman and Dwight Eisenhower.   The story perfectly weaves together his encounters with visitors to the White House, comments about the President's wives, the everyday life of each Commander and Chief, their tastes in food, overheard conversations and his personal life growing up in Lyles Station.
