Iggy Pop, Blondie, Henry Rollins…just a few of the Punk icons who have shown support for Woodstock, NY based band THE BOBBY LEES. Their new album BELLEVUE was released on October 7th 2022 on Ipecac Recordings (The Melvins, Mr. Bungle, Faith No More) and was produced by multi-grammy winning producer and mixer Vance Powell (Jack White, Chris Stapleton, Beyonce). Their last album SKIN SUIT was produced by underground punk-legend Jon Spencer of the Blues Explosion and was released via Alive Naturalsound Records in 2020. Henry Rollins said “The Bobby Lees Skin Suit album is wild and different. I dug it immediately. Dangerous music is good for you”.

The Membrains
Drawing heavily from garage bands of the 60’s, punk from the heyday of 1970’s CBGB, shaking it up and giving it a modern twist; The Membrains are one of the latest bands making waves in Philadelphias music scene. Their video/single “The Hunt” was released back in September to resounding reviews and has been said to sound “like a Joy Division song dialed into a gnarly guitar pedal or three” and accompanies a video that is “is a gory homage to classic slasher films”, definitely a must watch. Coming at you with their  aggressive yet catchy tunes, a chaotically high energy live show, and more swagger than rock-n-roll’s greats, The Membrains are truly a force to be reckoned with.
