The Learning Institute's 10th Annual Global Well-Being and Social Change conference will focus on using the social justice advocacy theoretical approach to enhance our global connectedness as we navigate an evolving world. This year's conference, Global Connectedness: Achieving Sustainable Change in an Evolving World, will have presentations that explore the realization of social justice and human rights and its myriad dimensions and manifestations.
Join us on Thursday April 20, 2023 at 5:30pm for a virtual documentary screening of "This Changes Everything" (https://thischangeseverything.org/) to kick off the events of the conference.
The full program will then be held on Friday April 21, 2023 from 8:00am-4:45pm.
The Global Well-Being and Social Change Conference will also be collaborating with the 2023 Lancaster County Climate Summit and PA NAME/Social Justice Summit for Educators. These co-occurring events will be held on Saturday April 22, 2023 and the conference ticket will allow you to participate in both summits. CEUs and ACT 48 credits are included in the cost of registration.
MU Students can register at NO COST with a valid MU ID at a box office location.
