Annie Nardolilli and Louisa Hall, the masterminds behind Griefcat, are a duo you can’t easily categorize or file into a neat little genre. They are mutually perpetuating forces in matching outfits who together create beautifully blended harmonies and brilliant lyrics with an unpredictable twist.

On their new album Late Stage Capitalism, the nine tracks range from flat-out hilarious to unexpectedly thought-provoking, each with a unique sound and lyrics to tickle the soul. An amalgamation of musical talent, these troubadours of the modern age display immense songwriting skills and infinite humor, with topical songs that not only dazzle but help you make fun of the world in which we live.

They’ve released several singles to date including “Cryptobro”, “I Just Want To Get Inside (Your Bank Account)”, “Benevolent Billionaire” and arguably their most well-known song to date “Revolution (Poop At Work)” which catapulted the duo to viral infamy and a strong following with over 25 million organic views of their videos. Even Questlove commented on the song saying “LOL I feel seen, I see my version as a political act.”

Jamie Shriner is what would happen if Bo Burnham and Jenna Marbles were cryogenically frozen together in a pair of cat lady glasses. A former theatre kid, current queer, deaf, & mentally ill gig-worker, Jamie uses humorous original songs to discuss her hearing loss and mental illness, as well as her struggles with body image, womanhood, and being queer in conservative Indiana where she grew up.

Jamie was named Best of the Fest at Kenan Thompson’s Popup Comedy Festival, Laughs After Dark Comedy Festival, and Big Pine Comedy Festival and is a regular feature at Zanies and Laugh Factory Chicago. The host and producer of Chicago Underground Comedy has opened for the likes of Beth Stelling, Randy Feltface, and Chrissy Chlapecka, and is a former Features Contributor for The Onion.
