April 22nd Celebrates the Jamboree 90th Anniversary.

“Rockland Road”
Rockland Road is made up of former lead singer of the band EXILE, Paul Martin, along with wife Jamie Allen Martin who is the daughter of Duane Allen of the Oakridge Boys. They and their 4 children are creating a stir in the music industry that has not been seen since the days of the Osmond family with appearances at Dollywood, the Grand Ole Opry, The Huckabee TV Show and more. All vocalists who among them play 23 different instruments. It is a powerhouse group featuring soulful vocals imbued with a pure, exuberant joy worthy of the talented blood that flows through this family’s veins.

Country Music Hall and West Virginia Hall of Fame member “Charlie McCoy”.
Charlie McCoy is a Grammy-winning American session musician, harmonica player, and multi-instrumentalist. Charlie McCoy was also the music producer for the TV Show HEE HAW. He has played in countless studio sessions for Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Chet Atkins, Waylon Jennings, Leon Russell, Ronnie Milsap and Loretta Lynn. He has recorded thirty-seven studio albums, including fourteen for Monument Records. Thirteen of his singles have entered the Billboard country charts. He was a member of Area Code 615 and Barefoot Jerry. In 2007, McCoy was inducted into the International Musicians Hall of Fame as a part of a group of session musicians dubbed "The Nashville A-Team".

Grammy winning singer songwriter “Tim O’Brien” with “Jan Fabricius”.
Born in Wheeling, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter (and West Virginia Music Hall of Famer). O’Brien absorbed a broad range of American music growing up, from country and rockabilly icons like Jerry Reed and Jerry Lee Lewis backed by local ringers at the Wheeling Jamboree. In 1974 and became a leading figure in the world of contemporary or progressive bluegrass – most notably in the quartet Hot Rize. O’brien collaborated with artists like Steve Earle, Sturgill Simpson and Dan Auerbach; Kathy Mattea, Garth Brooks and the Dixie Chicks cut his compositions, in 2015 he won a Grammy as a member of the bluegrass super group the Earls of Leicester, a nice companion for O'Brien's 2005 Best Traditional Folk Grammy for his album “Fiddler’s Green”.

Jamboree Artist Member “Shana Smith”.
Shana Smith is a Cast Artist Member of the Jamboree since 2011 a short time after the current production company launched and transitioned the show from its previous owners.
In 2013 she recorded a live album of songs from the stage of the Jamboree, published in partnership with the Jamboree. Her smooth metropolitan country style tends to remind many of artist such as Crystal Gayle
