The Squirrel Nut Zippers
While your chestnuts might be roasting in the summer heat at the moment, fear not Zipsters! The Squirrel Nut Zippers Holiday Caravan tour will return for the third consecutive year this winter!

"We're excited to have our third annual holiday tour coming up later this year," band leader Jimbo Mathus remarked. "These shows are always so fun and special. We'll be playing selections from our Christmas Caravan album, holiday hits and of course the finest new and old Squirrel Nut Zippers music for you all."
The Squirrel Nut Zippers most recent studio album titled Beasts Of Burgundy was released in 2018. The album debuted at #4 on the Billboard Jazz Albums Chart upon it's release. It was back in 1998 when the Squirrel Nut Zippers released their first and only Holiday album titled Christmas Caravan which went on to sell a quarter of a million copies and reached #12 on the Billboard Holiday Albums chart.
Since reactivating in mid-2016 the Squirrel Nut Zippers have been performing to packed houses across the country and around the world. As Jimbo Mathus has said since the band's re-launch, 'it's not a reunion, it's a revival.'
Firecracker Jazz Band
In hundreds of performances since 2003, Firecracker Jazz Band has played everywhere from street corners, speakeasies, jazz festivals from coast to coast, beer-soaked dance halls, Bonaroo and the Kennedy Center. Based in the beautiful confluence of plentiful music and majestic mountains that is Asheville, N.C., a performance by Firecracker Jazz Band is not to be missed. With jubilant vigor that spills from the stage to the streets, these six musicians revitalize traditional jazz with unbounded energy. In paying homage to the pioneers of early 20th Century Jazz, including that of Dixieland and New Orleans, Firecracker Jazz Band carries the torch that was once lit by such greats as Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Armstrong & Bix Beiderbecke. So bring your dancing shoes and remember: Speak Easy, Dance Hard.
