Mr. Lonnie G. Bunch, 14th Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, and NMAAHC founding director and Valerie Jarrett, senior advisor to President Barack Obama, discuss her recently published memoir, Finding My Voice: My Journey to the West Wing and the Path Forward, (Penguin Random House, 2019.) Their conversation will focus on Jarrett's life-long commitment to ensuring equal rights for women and girls, criminal justice reform, and her tenure during the Obama presidency.
