Grocer:
South Philly’s premier alt-rock purveyors return to the stage! A multi-fronted quartet whose repertoire is intricate and immediate in equal helping, Grocer have been hard at work in the test kitchen this past 18 months further refining their recipe and cooking up a few EPs worth of new tunes. Splitting the difference between the Pixies and Paramore, Grocer provides audiences with exciting song structures, high-octane performances and the occasional clumsy food metaphor!
Miranda Winters is a song-writer and musician best known for her role as the indomitable vocalist / guitarist of Chicago powerhouse, Melkbelly. Drawing on deep roots as a song-writer in Chicago DIY, Winters continues to evolve a signature sound by pursuing her music as a solo artist. Miranda has joined forces with Lizz Smith (Bruised), Wendy Zeldin (Pussy Foot) and Linda Sherman (Not For You) for a full-band version of previously stripped down songs.
