Renowned Christian artist and songwriter Matthew West will perform at the Kansas State Fair on Wednesday, September 13. He’ll be joined by up-and-coming Christian artist Anne Wilson.
Matthew West is a prolific artist, scoring 25 number one hits. He’s a five-time Grammy Award nominee and is the reigning Nashville Songwriters Association International Songwriter-Artist of the Year (putting him in the company of previous winners that include Luke Combs, Taylor Swift and Luke Bryan). His win makes him the first Christian artist to take home the honor in 20 years. In 2022, he won his 5th ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) Christian Songwriter of the Year award and earned Song of the Year for “My Jesus,” which he co-wrote with Anne Wilson and Jeff Pardo.
Anne Wilson will open for West, bringing her unique transcendent vocals, and down-to-Earth storytelling style. This Lexington, Kentucky native mixes the heart of contemporary Christian music with the sound of Country. Her 2021 debut single, “My Jesus,” become a GOLD-certified No.1 on Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart. Wilson is currently nominated for a Grammy Award for her 2022 debut album My Jesus, has won two GMA (Gospel Music Association) Dove Awards and two K-LOVE Fan Awards, while also scoring a coveted American Music Award nomination.
Tickets prices are $60 and $40 in the Grandstand.

Metal & Soul Patio with VIP Experience (south side of stage): Want the ultimate VIP treatment? In addition to a reserved table for six on the Metal & Soul Patio, this package provides three beverage coupons per person, complimentary food within the VIP seating area prior to the show, 2 VIP parking passes, and early entrance to the Grandstand at 6:00 pm. Each table with VIP experience is $750. Add the table to your cart and receive an add-on for the 5 additional tickets. You will receive information on how to obtain the beverage coupons and the VIP Parking passes prior to the concert.
NOTE: Each grandstand ticket will also include gate admission. Ticket will be valid on date of event only when purchased before entering the fairgrounds.
Children under the age of 2 do not require a ticket if they can sit on a person’s lap.
