Woodland Creatures is a six-piece Americana band based in Pittsburgh, Pa that believes everything is better with three-part harmony. Their original songs are carefully arranged to showcase the beauty and power of their harmonizing vocalists, and the virtuosic talent of their fiddle and lead guitarist. While their songs are influenced by a variety of musical genres, they are all tied together with rootsy vocals and unique instrumentation. Gail Hofbauer (lead vocals), Hannah McGovern (fiddle/harmony vocals), Liz Thompson (rhythm guitar/harmony vocals), and Jon McGovern (bass) started the band in fall of 2017. Since then, Nomi Joy Marcus (drums) joined in spring of 2021 and Ted Molnar (lead guitar) in spring of 2022. The band's debut EP, Rooted, was released in 2020 and was chosen to be part of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh's Stacks II collection. Their most recent single "No Time," received recognition in Americana Highways (national Americana music blog).
A cello rock powerhouse featuring three cellists and a drummer, Cello Fury's original music combines the symphonic sounds of the cello with driving rock beats. Founding members Nicole Myers and Simon Cummings, who also composes for the band, were joined by cellist Cecilia Caughman in 2018. Drummer David Throckmorton has performed with the group since its start in 2009. The band's cinematic, progressive rock sound appeals to a diverse audience throughout the United States and abroad.
Folk rock group, The Living Street, of Pittsburgh, PA consists of long-time best friends Nick Guckert and Edward Angelo. Since formation in July 2017, they have toured the USA in a station wagon in an attempt to tackle every state. The current count is 38 states!
