They’re back! The Footnotes in Valley History duo of Richard Adams and Nancy Sorrells returns to the Wayne stage for more history fun with two more off beat and lively topics on the fourth Sundays of the new year.

Sunday Jan. 24, 4 p.m. “Cattle in the Valley – An ‘Udderly Moo-ving’ History”

Cattle have a long and important place in the Valley’s agricultural history. Long before there were cattle drives in Texas, Augusta County residents saw droves of cattle pounding through their main streets on the way to Philadelphia. Today the Valley still leads the state in beef cattle and dairy production. History lovers will find this bovine story “udderly moo-ving.”
