Explore relevant ways to incorporate thematic teaching and contemporary art in the classroom. This virtual workshop is co-led by Sharon Vatsky, Director of Audience Engagement and Queena Ko, Project Manager, Curriculum Development at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York and features a diverse range of contemporary artists and interactive discussions of artworks from the Dallas Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum.
Attendees receive a complimentary copy of “Teaching Modern and Contemporary Asian Art”, a handbook for the Guggenheim’s collection. This program is supported by a grant from The Freeman Foundation and free with RSVP.
