This concert will examine the intersection of politics and music. Throughout week, local experts, including Rabbi Leif, Ron Scott, and Maestro Devlin, will discuss these composers, their experiences,and their impact on greater societal and social issues. Example discussion points to include:
-Rabbi on the legacy of Wagner
-Ron Scott on the legacy of Florence Price and black American musicians in general
-Maestro Devlin on Stalin and his relationship with artists
